This beautiful home on Lake Oconee was in need of a new deck and new patio. The homeowner had a beautiful lake lot, but wanted a covered patio area and some additional sun deck area to enjoy the outdoors. One of the many things that C&J specialize in is making additions look as if they were always there and were not just an afterthought. One of the ways we accomplish that is to meet with potential clients and get their ideas and thoughts. We will then go to the drawing board and provide homeowners some preliminary sketches to see if it is what they had in mind. As we get to a design they like, we take it to the next level and get professional plans drawn up. As you can see in the pictures here, we took the existing deck and increased their outdoor area by over 1000 square feet. We changed out their master bedroom windows to new doors so they could step right out onto their new outdoor patio. In order to allow them to enjoy the deck and new grilling area without the intense sun, C&J added a low slop metal roof. The new roof ties in to the new gable and also has retractable screens for those nights they want to keep any unwanted bugs out. The sun deck has two sets of stairs so the transition up and down is smooth and easy. New lighting, landscaping, and a water management system turned this old deck into an awesome outdoor play ground. |

Another service and product that C&J provides is Clear view power screens and Screen EZE replacement or new fixed panel screens. Here in the lake area, some of the best times can be spent out on an outdoor patio. But those times can be interrupted by annoying bugs and mosquitoes.

Restorations and Repair Work

| This beautiful Lake Sinclair A frame house was having what appeared to be a slight water leak coming from one of those large panel glass windows. C&J was asked to come look and see if we could identify the problem. As we started the project, we were hopeful to replace some bad caulk lines, rebuild some better window sills, and put up some fresh trim. As you can see from the pictures, as we peeled back some siding, we found major wood rot to all the window and door headers. Now the house has a new side, new headers and all those beautiful Pella windows. One thing is for sure, that side of their house will not leak again!! C&J replaced all the windows, a couple of doors, re-trimmed, painted and stained the whole outside as well as the inside. |
